Frequently asked questions

Does this require a Shopify app store app?

No. DingPack connects directly to Shopify using the OAuth flow — no App Store listing needed. Just click Connect Store, log in to Shopify, and approve the connection. The webhook is registered automatically.

Which Shopify plans does DingPack work with?

DingPack works with all Shopify plans including Basic, Shopify, Advanced, and Plus. The connection uses standard Shopify OAuth and webhook APIs available on all plans.

What happens if the print agent is offline when an order comes in?

Orders are queued in DingPack and printed in order as soon as the agent reconnects. You can also manually reprint any queued job from the dashboard or the tray menu.

Can I run multiple Shopify stores from one agent?

Yes. Connect as many stores as you need to your DingPack account. The agent handles all of them — one agent per PC, one subscription per store.

Can I reprint a specific order?

Yes. Search for any order by number in the DingPack dashboard and click Reprint, or use the system tray context menu. You can also send a test print at any time from the dashboard.

Is my Shopify data secure?

Yes. Every webhook from Shopify is verified with HMAC-SHA256 before processing. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Only the data needed for printing (order number, items, address) is processed — no payment card data is ever included.
